Roxane has been involved in the youth network within minority communities since the age of 15. In 1999-2001, Roxane was elected president of the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne-française (FJCF) and it was during her mandate that the first Jeux de la francophonie canadienne and the first Pan-Canadian Youth Parliament were held. Not having satisfied her thirst for this network and wanting to give back, Roxane worked for a year at the FJCF as a liaison officer and finally returned to Manitoba where she prepared to take over as Executive Director of the Provincial Youth Council. For over 18 years, Roxane has led the non-profit organization that develops the will and ability of young people to be active in the Francophonie by implementing strategies and initiatives that inspire generations of young people to get involved and take their place. As Executive Director, Roxane has been able to innovate and develop synergistic and sustainable partnerships in order to have an optimal impact on youth, but also within the community. Her community involvement is not limited to the youth network. She has sat on many boards of directors such as the Festival du Voyageur, the Conseil communauté en santé for the southeast region, the P'tits Brisous daycare, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Festival, the Fédération des communautés francophones et acadiennes and many more.
