Cory Herc

Cory Herc comes from a strong background in community development, holding his first seat on a board of directors for a community food cooperative at age 19 while pursuing his studies in Halifax. Discovering there a passion for working to empower communities and build capacity for change, he has worked with numerous non-profits and community organizations across multiple provinces, until setting down roots in Moncton in 2011. In the past decade here, he has established himself as a connector, collaborator, and capacity-builder, working with organizations such as La Bikery, Legs for Literacy, Centre Culturel Aberdeen, and most recently with the national impact funding program #RisingYouth, where he helped develop many of its foundational partnerships. He specializes in event planning, engagement, and facilitation, and is eager to bring his skills and passion to the O Strategies team.
