Born and raised in New Brunswick. Sophie LaPlante has a bachelor in Recreology and has been involved with various non-profit organizations over the past decade. Her involvement in various community organizations has given her a passion for helping others. Sophie believes that the goal of a job is to listen to others in order and to contribute to a better society. In her spare time, Sophie takes the time to educate people in her community about Dementia, a cause that is close to her heart. She also has two cats that she loves, Mr. Ruffles and Gros Menou.
